Has anyone setup question2answer's new search module plugin with Google Search Appliance?

Looking around for anyone who has tried to set up an internal verison of question2answer and used google's enterprise "Search Appliance" to extend question2answer's own native search.

GSA says it can index MySQL databases out of the box, but I don't know the work effort of doing this setup.

As far as I know, GSA supports db connection to write output not index.
Furthermore, GSA is originally for web crawling in a company's web data which is not allowed to go public.
