How to modify badges plugin to show badges directly on profile page?

I think it would be better to show the badges directly on the user profile page. One reason: The navigation "Badges" on top is hard to see. Another: Visitors want to see at once how good another user is...

What would be the easiest way to have the badges directly below "Activities of xyz"?

I was going to explain how to do it, but it's easier for both you and me if I just add an option to admin/plugins, so now you have an option that lets you choose that layout in the badge options.

However, how to output the badges before the list of user posts (directly after user activity). I am new to q2a plugins and could not find out where this line of code can be found.
