How to disable mobile theme for iPads?

I"m using the Google-style Mobile Theme for mobile users. I want people on phones to use it but would like iPad (and others with similar resolution) to see the non-mobile layout. Is it possible with a quick mod? I'm not up to making a plugin/layer/whatever.

iPad must shows PC theme.

The function qa_is_mobile_probably() in qa-base.php will be the cause of this. I'm not sure which part of it is misidentifying the iPad as a mobile browser, but perhaps you can experiment and let us know.

Interesting. I see that the stuff in that function is inspired by http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/PhpBB3_MOD:_Replacement_mobile_browser_detection_for_mobile_themes . That code is written specifically to exclude iPads, but that part of it didn't make it into q2a... Unfortunately I'm not sophisticated enough to figure out what to do.
