Hello,

It seems like my admin account's rights (priveleges) stopped working. My admin account still works, but I cannot reply, edit, or hide a post.

Moreover, I cannot even post a question now. And noone else too. Noone can register etc.

What could be the problem? Here is my site: http://sorucevap.sihirlielma.com/

BTW, there are spam bots posting spam on my Q&A site constantly :(

Please help.

Best,
Goktug

You have taken your site down for maintainance. Just undo this.

Go to admin/general and in there uncheck the last checkbox. In english it says Take site down for temporary maintenance

Thanks for the answer.

- I've corrected the 504 error, the original problem still exists.
- Tried the admin/permissions panel. Everything seems normal. My super admin user has all of the rights.
- I have not changed any code, for the last 6+ months.
- Could it be a hack try? How can I address it?

If I copy all of the Q2A files and relaunch the site, will I keep my questions and answers? I don't wanna lose them all.

Could you please tell me a backup method that I can backup my entire DB?

Thanks again.

Too many questions I have not the answer for. Anyway, I'm pretty sure just copying the .php files again won't delete anything but will make sure the files are the original ones. You will have to copy plugins and themes back again and any other file not in the original installation

Got it, thanks. I'm gonna try and let you know.

UPDATE: I've deactivated all plugins and re-installed v1.6.2 original files. No change :(

You can see the site in default theme and in English. Can you please check it again? I am confused about what to do now.

The site always responds with "You do not have permission to perform this operation"

UPDATE 2: I can use my admin panel and save changes. For example, I've put an information message on top of every page for my users.

I have found the solution! :)

Damn spam bots posted spammy questions, and used my server's internal address!

When the admin blocks that IP, none of the users (including admins) were blocked!

LOL. I fixed it through admin page. :)

Cheers everyone! I hope it helps for someone in the future!
