Hello, I'm writing a tracking plugin, and I would like it to function this way:

When a user posts a new question, it will surely CREATE a new record in qa_posts table. At the same time, I would like this action will also UPDATE another table (for example qa_tracker) with several input information like postid, post type, userid, post title, post content.

Where should I edit the core file so that the asking activity will do 2 jobs? Which function or which routing pages?

No CSS as it's a td and need to edit it raw somehow.

Ask with Tags Plugin which I am looking for.It is like asking with a category.When you in a category , q2a /pirske?cat=6 but I want it for tags too.Someone first shared on github but than remove it.

Is there anyone can share it.

I want the non-registered user to ask the question, and fill all the fields and as he clicks on the Ask the question button. He should be redirected to login page or open the pop up for signup.

I set the permission "Asking questions" to "Registered users with email confirmed" few days ago. Before users were allowed to ask as guests.

Today I see that anonymous guests can still posts questions!

Is that a bug? Or can they do so because of a cookie set? What could be the reason?

HTTP ERROR 500 with 'Ask Question'

I upgraded my server to PHP 7.1.x. After the upgrade when tried to submit a question ( with version 1.8.0), it throws below HTTP error. All other functionalities seem to be working fine.

cleartalking.com is currently unable to handle this request.

I found the below answer to the same scenario.

The error was Curl module was missing. and it was enabled to fix the below error in the trace.

Per above suggestion, I checked for Curl module in my server and that also enabled. Can someone help to fix this issue?

Why is there no theme function for the ask page?

I find it quite difficult to modify things on the ask page.

In qa-theme-base.php there are nearly no ways to access the different parts of the /ask/ page.

In my recent case I want to add more HTML below "More information for the question".

Example of how I do it recenty in the qa-theme.php:

I've written a custom js function to check input data in ask page. function checks whether there's question mark at the end of the sentence and so on... when user moves to next input field(by onBlur="" event)

I've added it to qa-ask.js file first, then to the ask page itself. But in both situations it isn't working. Why it isn't working???

Code itself is fine. But it's not working when applied to q2a
