There's no way to go to a category page unless you click on one of the links in "All category" widget

I was looking for a way to go to a category page and found that there is actually no way to do that unless I click on of the categories in sidebar "All category" widget.

If I go to "Categories" page, there I can only click on a link which takes me to recent questions of that particular category, instead of that category itself.

What's the need of sidebar on pages which have no relevance with these pages. Tags, Users, Category pages should be without sidebar so that complete pages can be used to show tags, users and category respectively.

We can also see this from stackoverflow that there is no sidebar in tags page, users page. Use complete page for tags and users.

For categories, show categories in half page and in front of categories, show latest questions asked in that category. Something like show in image below.
