The link is correct when a question is asked. But later when an answer comes the link to the question changes.

Example - A question is asked and its link is https://sitename.com/126

But next- https://sitename.com/126?show=3124

I want this link to not change.

I am already running a QA on my website with the English language.

The folder is -

example.com/qa

Now, I want to create another same QA for the Hindi language(Indian Langauge) in folder

example.com/hindi/qa

I can do it but the problem is that I can create only one database user on my hosting. If I change the all QA table name then how can change that table name in code?

like qa table name -

qa-posts

if I change for Hindi -

qa-hindi-posts

Homepage Title:

I want few modification in Snow theme. I am ready to pay for it also. What I need-

Header: Logo will be placed at nav bar. nav bar will have more height. See images for reference

As the website is used by many experts, who don´t have time to submit their articles to the database, it would be great to give moderators the possibility to post answers in the name of a user.

User can then send articles by email to the moderator and the moderator post the answers on the website (time saving service for some special users who give authorization for it).

Has this been implemented by someone before?
Is there someone interested to make a small plugin for this?

Another alternativ would be a small tool, to easily change the userid of a post (that was written by the moderator before), but maybe the statistics of the points would then not be accurate and often recalculating points for big websites is probably also not a good solution.

Changing qa_posts>content from VARCHAR to TEXT to write more text - consequences?

I am in a situation where the 8000 characters allowed are not sufficient for posting content. I tried to increase the 8000 to 20000 but get the mysql error notice:

1118 - Row size too large. The maximum row size for the used table type, not counting BLOBs, is 65535. You have to change some columns to TEXT or BLOBs

When I change VARCHAR to TEXT, what are the consequences? Will q2a get any problems with that?

EDIT: I changed 'content' from VARCHAR to MEDIUMTEXT now and it seems to work.

With MediumText you get: max. ~16MB – 16,777,215 character – around 4,194,303 utf-chars

If you need to do the same, after the DB changes, you need to edit file qa-db-maxima.php:
