I made some changes in my CSS file, but it does not impact anything visually.

And I was mainly shocked when I deleted the CSS file from my directory and the website still works as if the CSS file is still there. With or without file, the website still works the same. Why?!

I've been analyzing the code but still can't get the idea of how I could inject some Javascript scripts between the codes.

The thing that caught my eye is this - $qa_content['script_rel'] but have no idea how it works. Is there like a function like this->output() as I seen on the themes?

I want a website and mobile app somewhat similar to what Q2A is offering.

But the names inside the website don't suit to my audience/scenario.

Can we somehow rename the main modules in it.
E.g. Ask a question> > Raise an issue

Questions>> Issues

Answers>> Solutions.

These renamings cover bigger area/have more scope.

Best practice to define custom theme options?

I am running a brother site of my main site. To reduce administration I am using for both the same plugins and themes.

For the theme options, I needed different colors (was able to do specific options by SCSS includes) and logos. Easy.

But when it comes to the qa-theme.php I am a bit stuck.

It seems that I cannot include('custom-file.php'); in the class qa_html_theme extends qa_html_theme_base {...} to access those variables (options) globally.

It seems that I can do so only in the functions(), which requires several includes of several files.

Is there any other option?

PS: Unfortunately, there is no way to define "custom fields" for the theme. And I do not want to create a separate plugin for each theme. It just doesnt feel right.

Hi i just discovered Q2A and i have to say that its a great forum platform. I am trying to learn how it is work and i m very excited of its features. However i am trying to add the user's profile field "location" inside the drop down user menu at the top bar but cant make it work :(

Until now i tried to add this piece of code inside my qa-theme file:

$location = isset($content['raw']['profile']['location'])?$content['raw']['profile']['location']:'';

and then echo the result with:

echo $location;

but it doesnt display anything and also it doesn't return any errors !

What i m doing wrong here ? it would be great if any of the Q2A developers could give me some help here.

Categories to appear as Tree using CSS

Many times users don't have a clue that they have to press 'enter' after typing the question. It is easier to understand that you have to press question button after asking a questions.

Note: I am not concerned about the blue color of the question box. I just want a 'question' button.
