Just saw that the emails sent by my website are shown in GMAIL as non-encrypted.

Gmail couldn't verify that xxx actually sent this message (and not a spammer).

Now I am wondering how to get this done by PHPMailer - without using SMTP.

Or is SMTP the only way? (I tried once to set it up, but somehow failed.)

Does Question2Answer use SHA1 or MD5 for password encryption? Also, are the passwords stored in the row "passsalt"?

I need to know this for integrating wordpress with question2answer.
