Users table and external users

Hi,

In my company we use active directory, so I've configured the q2a with AD as external users.

I saw that when I use external users, the users table doesn't get created, and all the data about the user doesn't exist. Is there any way to make the external users work & user users table?

The users table has a lot of information that i want to be able to show. additionaly, most of the plugins rely on this table for their data. So, for example, I can't use the badges plugin.

Is there a known solution? Is it a good idea to modify the code so the table will be created and filled anyway?

Thanks,
