Hi

Some users can not log in to my site and encountered to "user not found error" message .

While they have registered on the site.

Even when they want to input the password to retrieve these messages are displayed. where is the problem?

Hello I am new on q2a. I am a student and I have a project for school. I want run q2a on webserver on virtualbox . I install ubuntu server on virtualbox as guest and install LAMP on it.i can ping from host to guest or guest to host. When I enter ip address guest machine in firefox broswer on hast machine everything is ok apache is ok.i make a database on mysql with blowe information:

database name “QandA”
user of database “ali”
password for QandA database “dddd”

I download q2a 1٫7 and go step by step on this guide:


	1. Create a MySQL database.
	2. Create a MySQL user with full permissions for that database.
	3. Rename this file to qa-config.php.
	4. Set the above four definitions and save.
	5. Place all the Question2Answer files on your server.
	6. Open the appropriate URL, and follow the instructions.

My content  qa-config.php file:

now I enter ip address guest machine in firefox host machine exaclly like this
http://192.168.93.103/question2answer
 but dosen't happening . Q2a doesnt work.q2a give me error on firefox

In Q2A, page reading and several operation are limited by login state and user type (permission). Q2A may become user friendly by improving 404 message.

Example of qa-lang-main.php(141):

Before: "Page not found"
After: "Page not found. You may be able to access by login or register."

Page Not Found on Logout after custom Login Module

Hi all,

I have created a small plugin module (based on this ldap_plugin) for auto login via NTLM results for my intranet. It logs users in under the supplied credentials but when the user clicks logout I get a 400 Bad Request error.

Can anyone shed some light?

I am using the latest version of questions to answers. I installed it successfully after much hard luck but now when I access the admin section or any other page apart from the homepage http://deluxejournal.com/qa it saws "Page not found" Please help me!!!

I get a lot of file not found errors, having referrers such as:

I tried to locate the "dummy" part in the php core, and found it in qa-page-admin-default.php with:

Can we implement a custom 404?

Has someone played around to implement custom Not Found 404 page? Could you point me to where to look to do that?

Hi There

Despite checking this file exists on my server, I am left with this message after updating to 1.4.3 and go to check the language files for updates!:

The requested URL /qa-include/qa-check-lang.php was not found on this server.

And I'm trying to directly access the file!.

Any clues ?
