Increasing the number of questions on the Home Page to 100

I added the 'define('QA_DB_RETRIEVE_QS_AS', 200);' line in 'qa-config.php'. After, I updated the "Length of Q&A page:" value to 100. But the number of questions on my homepage increased to 57. No matter how many times I set the 'Length of Q&A page' value, the number of questions on the homepage is 57 at the most.

When I do the same operations on my other q2a site, the maximum number of questions on the homepage is 72.

Why does this problem occur? What would you suggest for the solution?

Hey webmasters!

I want to redirect all my "Page not found" to homepage.

My domain have a lots of backlinks of a page which doesn't exist now on website. It show "Page not found".

I have tried this in .htaccess:

ErrorDocument 404 /index.php

Example:

1.) There are a lot of backlinks of this page. Now this page doesn't exist on my website now.

I want the questions page to be the default homepage instead of recent questions and answers without any redirection.

I meant, the homepage should have the "questions" page and when someone clicks on the "questions" tab in the menu, the link should return to homepage as it is the default questions page.

I want to entirely remove the recent questions and answers page from q2a.

Can I design a custom page using a page module plugin (with some PHP scripts, rather than just pure HTML tags) and then set it as homepage using the config file?

For example:

A custom PHP page like honolulu.php, with a request name 'honolulu'. And then, in qa-config.php file, I set up like this:

$QA_CONST_PATH_MAP = array(
        'honolulu' => '',
        'user' => 'u',
   );

Can that be feasible?

When the above questions get a lot of answers, the homepage order changes. It is ranked according to the last question, not the last answer.

Currently there is no way to display a widget exclusively on Homepage. The closest option is to display on "recent questions and answers" pages, and Homepage is one of them.

Is there any PHP trick to display a widget only on Homepage, but not on any single other page?
