How to create a custom homepage for q2a site?

I am using the q2a open source code as a forum for my main site. My main homepage is made with HTML and some javascript code. Now, I want to create a subdirectory for the forum in my main site like www.mysite/forum. How can I do that? Also, how do I link the pages from forum to my main site?

What is the best hosting server for Q2A with traffic like question2answer site with less cost?

Can anyone give any idea on these options:

1. Amazon Cloud server (Cost is very high)

2. DigitalOcean (Cost is less compared to AWS)

3. Godaddy

4. Inmotion hosting

I would also love to listen from @Scott about best option as question2answer website is hosted on DigitalOcean.

This is my domain: forum.healthpedia.co.il

I am using Dreamhost. Uploaded all the files and changes to qa-config.php , but I'm not sure what to put on define('QA_MYSQL_HOSTNAME' .

So I tried, mysql.forum.healthpedia.co.il , I tried 127.0.0.1 and localhost but nothing seems to work. All I can see is a blank white page without the starting tutorial that should pop up. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

i moved site to new server and get Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

Homepage opening but clicking any link gives a blank/404/error page
