Is it possible to make the side panel disappear depending on the page that you are and the size of you screen?

I realize that the behaviour of the side panel in iPads become very strange deppending on the position of the screen. If the screen is a portrait, the side panel goes to a place located below the questions and this is odd. If the screen is a landscape, it works well. However, if the screen is a landscape and you are in the ask page, the same strange behaviour.

Is there a way to deal with this behavior?

Edit: I am using the "Snow Flat theme".

IPAD - Website doesn't fit sreen when loading

Hi,

I'm having a trouble with the website when i'm going in with an iPad.

During the page's loading, I have a larger gray block shown on the right and my website is really small (On the left).

At the end, it take the size of the iPad.

How to remove this state ? I mean, how to get the website fiting the screen of the iPad form the beginnig to the end.

How to disable mobile theme for iPads?

I"m using the Google-style Mobile Theme for mobile users. I want people on phones to use it but would like iPad (and others with similar resolution) to see the non-mobile layout. Is it possible with a quick mod? I'm not up to making a plugin/layer/whatever.
