Hello there, I've had a few hours to kill so I've created a better directory for themes and plugins. see the Demo.

Features:

It will be open source and others can create their own curated list based on it and publish it or push their changes to main repository. see Github Repo.
It offers Search, Filtering, and sorting for Plugin and Theme Lists
it's responsive, with a single page design

I've only been able to add official list of addons to this page. there are a lot of addons out there that are not yet been indexed in Q2A's addon page. I hope that developers and contributors will help me complete this list.

To be done:

Complete the lists with all themes and plugins
Use JS to load list(from json files) instead of php, so it can be used as a static html page.

Feel free to vote on the Selected Answer bellow to choose policy regarding favoring open source projects in the list or not.

New plugin - Expandable question lists

Here's a simple plugin that makes question lists expandable/scrollable, including the homepage. For the homepage it keeps a database table with the most recent answer/question for each thread, every time users create/alter posts this table is updated ("synced"). This doesn't work 100% yet but you get the idea, if you find bugs do tell!

In qa-page-user this code gets a list of all favorite questions.

Q2A v 1.5 > admin > viewing > sort answers by > time or votes. By default, oldest answers are displayed at the top. How do you change to make the newest answers appear at the top of the answer list? Thank Ye Kindly! :)

I have a site where each question is based on an image.

One uploads the image through the editor, adds the title and question text.

Now in lists I need the whole question content displayed, includig the images.

(I understand that it slows down the page but I need the pictures visible on the lists...)

What would be the way to do so ?

Any help is welcome !!
