[Free Plugin] Logout from all devices

Hi all,

Q2A only logs out the current session. If users forget to logout from another device (especially with Remember Me), there’s no way to revoke that session.

We implemented a “Logout from All Devices” feature in our plugin: https://github.com/GATEOverflow/q2a-miscellaneous-settings

It lets users invalidate all active sessions for better security.

If we've logged into our account on multiple devices, is there an option to log out from all of them at once—especially in cases like a password change? If not, could such a feature be added? It would be extremely helpful in situations where a user's login credentials may be compromised.

I was able to successfully integrate the Q2A with WordPress, with some minor tweaks, the login was properly redirected to WordPress. The primary reason for me to integrate Q2A is to manage the user accounts efficiently. But when I completed the integration, the following issues occurs:

1. The logout button disappears. There is no way you can logout of Q2A. The user will have to navigate away to the WordPress user profile and then logout from there. If I am using any social media login, then this will be an issue I guess.

2. The Donut theme has a login page in the Q2A site itself. When I typed my credentials and clicked login, it takes me to the WordPress page where I need to login again. This is not a good user experience. I do not know how to integrate this login screen with Q2A.

Is there any plugin or tweak to have all the users listed where we can simply select them and delete, like in WordPress? There is a number of spam users whom I want to get rid of. Any inputs will be appreciated. Thanks.

How can i redirect to a custom page after logout ???

Hi. As the title of my question describes what i want to do is to create a custom page that will be displayed to the users when they are loging out of my web site. The goal is to say a "thank you" to those users and display some links/graphics so my site will be a little more user friendly.

PS I dont mind if i have to hack the core files cause i really need to build that page so any answers are welcome.

I have a problem with the plugin - Login With Facebook.

This plugin is malfunctioning.

When I log off from Q2a,

plugin logged out of my Q2a and also logged out of my facebook.

in my opinion

instead of: login to fb. or log out of fb.

should be: connect with fb. or disconnect from fb.

Does anyone have the right script?

If you logged in via facebook clicking on facebook logout button does not fully log you out. It simply changes the facebook-loutoug to facebooklogin and yet you are still loggin in!!!!!

I just figured out what it actually does:

It logs us out of facebook but does not log out of q2a

Wordpress Integration: Impossible to log out

Just would like to share my experience: I successfully integrated Q2A with Wordpress. Then, however, I couldn't manage to log out from WP on Safari. There was no error message, the user just kept on being logged in.

I solved the problem by changing in wp-config.php

define('COOKIE_DOMAIN', '.mysite.com');

define('COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'mysite.com');

(without the dot)

Note that my main Wordpress installation is located at mysite.com and Q2A at support.mysite.com. I don't use any subdomain with www.

Improvement Request: logout link of Facebook plug-in

It seems that CSS class(qa-nav-user-link) of logout link will not be applied if Facebook login plug-in is used.

[Solution example]

qa-plugin/facebook-login/qa-facebook-login.php (L128)

Before: echo '<A HREF="'.qa_html($tourl).'">'.qa_lang_html('main/nav_logout').'</A>';

After: echo '<A class="qa-nav-user-link" HREF="'.qa_html($tourl).'">'.qa_lang_html('main/nav_logout').'</A>';

Facebook logout not working (1.4 sub-dir install)

Trying out Q&A - love it

I've installed v1.4 in a sub-directory of a sub-domain. Standard login/logout works fine.

I can log on with Facebook, but I am unable to logout (not found error). Q&A is looking in the root directory i.e. "mysubdomain.example.com/logout". If I manually type into the browser "mysubdomain.example.com/Q&ASubDirectory/logout" it sometimes allows me to logout.

I notice logout on this "board" works for FB, so is it something I've done, or is anyone aware of a quick fix, before I wade through the code?
