I also noticed that such pages appear without the question text in Google Webmasters (picture attached)

Note: It only appears on some pages, not all

Do you have a solution?

Extra fields reactivate in user profile

Hi ,

Several months ago I deactivated "Extra fields"in user profile , that when I was useing v-1.8.6. Now with v-1.8.8 I can't reactivate it again , when I Click on Add new field , page closed and I get an error message :

(onsite notifications) error

Yesterday, I installed and activated the plugin (onsite notifications) in my website ; Unfortunately, it did not work well, and I received an error warning in the CPanel errors as follows:

PHP Question2Answer MySQL query error 1146: Table 'XXXXX_XXXX.qa_usermeta' doesn't exist - Query: SELECT UNIX_TIMESTAMP(meta_value) FROM qa_usermeta WHERE user_id=000 AND meta_key='visited_profile'

Please help, in resolving this error.

When I try to login to my site, I find it not responding. I get a message like this:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access this resource.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request.

Facebook log in not working

Hi There,

I have spent some time working on the Facebook app login, but I cant get it going.

I keep getting this box (image attached), yet I'm sure i've done this properly (see oAuth page details attached)

I have downloaded the ckeditor plugin through builder with code snippet and syntax highlight plugin.And i just replaced the q2a ckeditor by the downloaded updated ckeditor. Everything works fine like there are buttons for inserting code in the editor.But they actually cant highlight code.Here how it looks a c++ code.

Unicode Tag links are not not working

I am running 1.7.0-beta-2 version. On my site, the Tag links with Unicode tags are not working. Roman letters in tags seem to be working fine.

Here is an example of Unicode and redirects to main tags page.

SSO Integration - public user names

Hi,

I'm trying to set up q2a connected to active directory with sso.

I currently work on the file get-external-users.php and completing the necessary functions. There wasn't a problem with most of the functions, but I have a problem with qa_get_userids_from_public().

In my AD we use textual identifyers to identify each user. (lets say its something like 'abc1234'). We also use a display name, which is usualy the person's full name.

So, I'm using the textual identifiers as userid (abc1234) and the full name as display name - public user name ('Michael John').

The problem is:

I cant get userid from public because the db might have more than one Michael John!

how can I solve this? I dont want to do something ugly like setting the public name as "Michael John (abc1234)".

Any suggestions?

The install went alright, but after posting a sample question, I get nothing but a blank page when I click on it.

When I view the source of the blank page, the output is:

(The query keeps going but it is too long to post).

I tried increasing the max_allowed_packet in my.ini to large numbers and the error keeps happening (the apache log showed that error). Any idea what is going on?

Furthermore, in the admin panel, everytime I refresh the page I get different URL options with the OK label next to them. This is on a development server and I have rewrite turned on. I've tried every one of the rewrite options.

When installing after clicking "Craete Database......"nothing hjappens insted it remains same but the URL chnages to /index.php?qa=install.
