How can I set the Badget plugin so that visitors are not informed about new awards? I have deactivated the e-mail notification, but there is a note at the top of the page, which unfortunately leads to an error for me.

In most systems, users have a settings section to control what to be sent to their mails.

Q2A is the only exception, I know, that does not have this.

And this is the only CMS in the world as far as I know that requires a tick mark to send notifications when asking, answering, commenting.

It was planned for 1.7 and then 1.8 and now for 1.9. We are waiting for it about several years!

Email notofications stopped working, since about August 1st 2019. Nothing was changed in the admin page. Here are the settings:

Sender address for messages from site: no-reply@mywebsite.com

Email address for admin messages - not shown to users:(my email address )

CHECKED : Email this address when a question is posted

UNCHECKED : Provide a page for users to send feedback

UNCHECKED : Send email via SMTP instead of local mail

I want this. For example, adding @ at the beginning of a person's username automatically links to that person's profile.

Hi there,

The email notification was delivering smoothly for a year but suddenly all notifications have been redirected to spam/trash folder of mine and other users' inboxes. What could be the reason?

I have not changed any of the settings of my server or my site for at least a year. I have been using no-reply address with no SMTP setting.

For example, some sites have “report” plugins so site visitors can select text with mistake and click Ctrl+Enter.
