Hello everyone

i hope you all are doing well

i need your help in quiz plugin which is showing an error of time to me,

whenever i go to my score page i got the following error, i have tested carefully & attempted two questions on different time but time is only showing 1 second ago in all quiz question attempted. after 10 minutes it still shows 1 second ago.

I see the following spam plugins on the q2a addons section - which ones should we be using as standard and which can we ignore?
Given we use bootstrap, it seems to me installing 1,3 and 6 would seem sufficient. Is that reasonable?

Akismet Plugin by Dave Hannon. Uses the Akismet spam filtering service to detect spammy posts and queue them for moderation.
AntiBot Captcha by Krzysztof Kielce. Simple and easy captcha for Q2A 1.5+.
Bootstrap reCAPTCHA by Amiya Sahu. A version of the default reCAPTCHA plugin that works well with Bootstrap-based themes.
KeyCAPTCHA Captcha by Andrey Gvosdev. Provides the KeyCAPTCHA captcha for Q2A.

Making Q2A better

I have been using Q2A for a very little time but i feel it is a powerful yet very simple to understand script. There are many in market written on different platforms from Python to RoR etc. But having Q2A on PHP and mySQL makes it reach much larger given that these 2 technologies are still de-facto when it comes to finding the host. However, there are few things which I believe we can do better.

1. Faster development

2. Modern Look and feel

3. Mention against each plug-in theme the version of Q2A it supports

Not that I am criticizing, but I am looking for an opportunity to make it much more better.

Comments please.

on-site-notifications still very slow!

I understand it only makes one AJax call to server but let's face it for users it does not matter how the underlying code works, they see it working very slow. Any input from q2apro would be very much appreciated

Here is the plugin bug description:
Suppose that the maximum number of events to show in notification box is set to 50. If a user has over 50 "new" notifications (say 60), then clicking on the notification link will not list any new notification at all.

What I got as an answer is that you cannot help me for free ! What ?! This is hallucinating !

I would like to point out that the issue occus with a theme (donut) which comes by default with the official release of question2answer, it is not a custom theme !

Suppose the number set at

Maximum number of events to show in notification box = 50

however a user has over 50 "new" notifications, let's say 60. then the plugin breaks and clicking on the notification bubble ( number) will not list the notifications at all. It showa nothing for the users with more than 50 notifications!!!!!!

I have not changed any configuration!
Maybe the notification is comming from 2 different sources, but I would like to stress that I am still developing in localhost. Is there a way to deal with this problem? It is quite strange to be notified twice.

Hello,

I am wondering if their is a plugin I can buy that allows moderators/admins/staff to warn members. For example if you have 3 warnings from a staff member you will be auto-banned (blocked) from the site. Moderators/Staff can choose why they are warning the user.

I know IP.Boards (a Forum Software) has this, but im wondering if someone can make one or give me a link. I will be willing to pay a developer to make this.

The problem is that the the Plugin q2apro-on-site-notifications in no longer compatible with q2a 1.7 alpha. I would like to place it somewhere else like the one shown in the image below, any tips please?

It's creating issues when looking a the site through https (since I'm using shared hosting)

I am using q2apro notification plugin and i want to give another location to notification bubble.I think i have to change the "loggedin" string in content['loggedin']['suffix'] but i dont know what i have to put in place of it.More specifically i want to put it beside the user avatar. Pls help me.
