Issue with Selecting Best Answer: Page Loads Slowly

Hi everyone,

I have about 10 million questions and 12 million answers on my website. When I click the "Select Best Answer" button https://prnt.sc/hnQ5R76UyEXe

The page with the answer takes a very long time to refresh.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Can someone suggest how to resolve this problem? Is it problem with huge database?

P.S. There are no issues with voting for questions/answers or adding a question to favorites.

Server Specifications:

Intel Core i7-8700

2x SSD M.2 NVMe 1 TB

4x RAM 16384 MB DDR4

Important! Select The Working Answer And Search Before Posting A Question

Hey friends, My thought!

This is very important to all who knowingly or unknowingly don't select working answer for them question that please select working answer for your question so in future other user can consider if they have similar question instead of asking same question again to the board. Which creates lots confusion.

This is very frustrating for the member who is spending time and effort to help you and asker never select the working answer. Which can result same question asked by many users and may member again have to spend time for the same answer already been posted. Or in some cases asker will never get an answer.

Also before posting a question try to use Search function. Question2Answer has great search function and you should always try to use that before posting your question. As community grow there is high possibility that your question has been answered before from other user.

I hope we all will understand and help to increase the usability.
