I am using Mayro theme and there's a nice floating button on the bottom right for asking a new question.

In the admin→permissions, I have set the permission for asking questions to "experts" and this hides the "Ask a question" link from the nav menu for users without the ability to post questions, which is fine.

(See image below)

But the "Ask a question" button still floats on the bottom right even for other users. I want to also hide it from there just as it is hidden on the navigation menu based on the permissions and levels.

Note that the "Ask a question" has been translated to "Add post" but it's the same.

I searched here in forum but didn't find something similar to what I ask on my question's title. What i was looking for is a plugin or even a theme hack(?) that allow site administrators to upload an image for each category they create at back-end (admin panel).

This theme looks really nice. It's a theme built on Snowflat but it looks worthy. It wasn't very active when I checked the site. Actually no message for 3 years. If the owner shares this theme with us, I'm sure it will meet the needs of many. wish he shared :)

As per the question title i am looking for a way to display at the home page the recent 4-5 questions from a specific category. Does anybody know if there's already a plugin or a simple way to do it directly in the theme file?

copied theme and changed name but in admin it's the old theme name

I copied snowflat then copied it to the themes folder, changed the folder name but in admin it still shows the "snowflat" name not what I changed the theme name to

I have noticed, All Plugins and Themes are not updated for a long time.

All plugins and themes must be updated. No one themes (Free or Paid) are looking professional theme. Developers should make some professional paid themes and plugins.

This is good time for developers to earn money. I am also looking for a professional theme, but can't find.

I suggest please make a theme like Answers.com, and every section of theme must be editable.

Where can I find more themes to download?

I tried a lot with default snowflat theme to mobile friendly. When i test it by using google mobile friendly tester,it show that this theme is mobile friendly.But google mail me is that my site has mobile friendly issue still remain. I tried a lot but can't fix. Now i decided to move from this default theme.Is there any theme really available which is mobile friendly without any issue?default is not mobile friendly.

I created a new page type that is a variation of the ask page via plugins:

I've gone through the themes, for this page, instead of using an editor, I just want a regular textbox. Is this possible? I try to override

Hi all,

I am new here - just trying to create a new theme. Not having much success with getting admin to recognize it.

I have a new theme directory, named - details in css file:
