How to make to appear, under the question title, the description and image, in the front page?

Hi, How can i fetch first image from content and display it in list of question in activity and home page.

I can do reg-ex for taking image from content, but how, can i fetch content on recent question, or hot question page ?

Or do i need to find alternative.

My purpose is to show the image just beside "vote", "reply" , "image" and "question" in "recent activity", "hot" page.

Per image from content of the same question. ( Kind of featured image in wordpress )
