I've enabled 'Show titles next to usernames:' and 'Show points next to usernames:' in Admin->Viewing. I see the titles and points on all pages except Users page.

On Users page, I only see the points and not the titles.

Is this by design? If so, how can I add the title there as well?

If not, it could be because of a plugin...

I am creating a QA forum like q2a. I will store the slug in the database. My website links are indexed in google . That's why need to title to slug and insert to database. I can copy slug from URL but it will take a lot of time. I will fetch all titles and convert them into slug then insert them by the loop in a database table. How can I convert slug-like q2a and store it in the slug column? Any SLUG function but should be produced slug same like q2a

If I use any other slug() function, it doesn't produce the same slug-like q2a because, in q2a slug, many words hide from a slug or other things you can understand the mechanism of slug function. I want that functionality.

Currently, the default title of a question is (question title) - (q2a site title). Now I want to change to (question title) - (category title). But Q2A docs is not clearly or fully written, so I am not sure where to edit.

How to prevent editing of question tittle for users

As you are aware when question is first time posted its link url in generated from the title of the question.

And when question is edited, the link also changes.

This causes many errors in google search indexation.

Suppose that question is initially posted with title "title url 1", so its url is generated as "www.q2a.com/id/title-url-1". And google indexes it within a certain time.

In case user updates the title of the question as "title url 2", the url of question also updates to "www.q2a.com/id/title-url-2". And google treat it as new page, not update.

So, google indexation will index this second url, however, it will treat the first url into 404 error. In google search console there will be a lots of error pages if users deliberately or frequently updates questions.

The same scenario is valid for tags as well.

How to overcome these issues? Currently, I am only thinking about preventing users to edit question title and question tag (they only can edit content of question). And allow only Admins and Moderators to edit them.

I searched it in this site, but I could not find solution here.

If one question title includes %, using URL structure:

/123/why-do-birds-sing (requires htaccess file)

would introduce some display problem.

I guess the problem comes from .htaccess file, because % has special meaning in .htaccess.

How should I do to solve this problem?

It seems no such problem in this site (question2answer.org) has no such problem. Can someone gives me an example of .htaccess?
