User not found error bug on login page

I tried the .htaccess fix but it didn't work for me. do I need the latest Q2A update for that? I'm on an older version because I've made a lot of changes to the core and lang files, so will update later when I have more time.

Hey guys , is this a bug ,if you turn to login page ,you will always find that there is a notice that " user not found ",this may give people wrong message that there is someting wrong with his account , how to deal with this problem?THX
