Hello,

I installed q2a on my wordpress website subdirectory (htdocs) example.com/q/ and working url structure is /?qa=123/why-do-birds-sing

I want to change url structure to example.com/q/123/why-do-birds-sing [q2a general setting > option 1] but when i select first option and open example.com/q/123/why-do-birds-sing url then it's showing 404 error of wordpress theme 404 page.

My wordpress website is installed on UBUNTU server with Nginx.

I didn't want to have a common database for wordpress site and q2a site so that is why i want to host q2a on separate database with wordpress website.

When i try to move q2a outsite htdocs folder usinf FTP then it's showing wordpress theme 404 page.

Note - There are page rules on my main wordpress website which redirect all urls to home page or on specific page if url have ? symbol.

What should i do to have plain url structure (Defauld Q2A first option in general setting).

How to "dis-integrate" Question2Answer from Wordpress

Hello all,

Recently we installed Question2Answer script on our website. We noticed that it offers feature of integrating with Wordpress. We followed the online documentation and integration was sucessful.

However, since we have done this integration, we noticed that if any changes are made to Question2answers on our website, it causes website not to respond. We have to restart mysql and webserver, and it will take a few minutes to restore website back to working mode.

Mysql queries do not show any significant queries (except sleeping one's) but this particular problem is for sure happening since we integrated it in our main website wordpress.

Please note, we already have memcache enabled in Question2answer admin section, but it does not help.

Anyway, I am now thinking of "dis-integrating" question2answer from our main website database.

What is the best way to preserve existing questions / answers while isolating question2answer to it's own database instead of having it sharing our Wordpress database (ofcourse without damaging our wordpress website).

Looking for some expert advise.

403 forbidden error - Q2A WordPress integrated with a multisite

Hi!

Initially, I created a WordPress website and integrate Q2A as the main domain, but I decided to also create a sort of a forum, so I converted the WordPress to a multisite and created a new subdirectory, and installed the forum as a subdirectory to the main domain.
Q2A works perfectly fine, BUT when I try to access the forum URL which is in a form of a WordPress plugin, I get a "403 Forbidden - You don't have permission to access this resource." error.

Any way to solve the issue?
