"Show points next to usernames" is turned on , but i don't see the points shown next to my username. I have also tried to change it off but still doesn't work.
I use question2answer 1.5b2.

I think this might be a misunderstanding of the meaning of that option. It shows points next to usernames in question lists and on question pages, not next to your username at the top right when you're logged in.
