API Error Code when trying to log in using Facebook

Question

I set up the Facebook login plugin and then tried to log in using Facebook and received the below error. Would this have anything to do with having WordPress sign-in activated at the same time?

 

 

 

An error occurred with [My App Name]. Please try again later.

API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: redirect_uri is not owned by the application.

I have the same error code on my website except I don't have Wordpress. Let me know if you find a fix.

I had the same problem and worked it out. You have to go into your app settings in facebook.

There is a field where you set the URL, and you will also see a field where you set your domain.

You will notice that the URL is populated but the domain field is blank. You need to set the domain to be yourdomainname.com and it will work.

This didn't work for me. My site runs at its.veryserious.org, how should I fill out the domain/URL fields? veryserious.org/http://its.veryserious.org?
