Is there any plugin that allow admins to add images on categories?

I searched here in forum but didn't find something similar to what I ask on my question's title. What i was looking for is a plugin or even a theme hack(?) that allow site administrators to upload an image for each category they create at back-end (admin panel).

Is there a use case for that? This plugin allows HTML category description and it should be straightforward to extend it to include an image.
