What is Gave Out mean?

I have difficulty in translation into Indonesian. What is meant by"Gave Out" on file qa-lang-profile.php line 37. For what purpose"Gave Out" is?

Q2A version: 1.4.3

"Gave Out" is used on the user (member) pages eg http://question2answer.org/qa/user/DisgruntledGoat

It is how many times you voted. For me it says "Gave out: 247 up votes, 57 down votes" which means I voted up (clicked the up arrow) 247 times, and voted down (clicked the down arrow) 57 times.
