Very Strange MYSQL Error with Q2A: What Does it Mean?

My Q2A site has been running fine for the last few weeks on the upgraded version. Then today, the whole site went down and the logs showed the following error repeatedly:

PHP Question2Answer MySQL query error 1030: Got error 28 from storage engine - Query: SHOW COLUMNS FROM qa_options

Then the site threw the following error and presumably crashed:

PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes 
exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in 
qa-include/qa-db-install.php on line 487

This means your disk was too full to perform the query.
