I tried this in my site and in this site and found that the captcha doesn't require more than one word for verification

Any idea?

If you are talking about ReCaptcha then it has to do with their algorythim.  I think they allow a certian precentage of errors and are not that strict.  as long as you are x% close then let you through.

The aim of the ReCaptcha project is to digitise the world's books using CAPTCHAs. You see two words - one is known by ReCaptcha and one isn't. The known one is the one you have to get right, and the other one is used to figure out what that word is, as apart of the digitisation.
