Hello,

I have a dedicated linux VM server.  I have created a new database and installed Q2A on the domain in a seperate folder qa. My main domain is a wordpress blog, it has slowed down by a factor, it is very slowwww. ( http://redbus2us.com/qa ). I have not done any changes on the website other than this installation. I have noticed similar performance slow down in my other Q2A instllation on my other website.  Not sure, what is going on.

Am I missing something ? Do I have to do somehting ?

Can you please help me ?

Regards,

Chinna

I can see everything is working fine. What is the problem?
by
Pixelngrain, Well, it is working fine. But the performance of the blog has gone down significantly. It is taking a lot more time to load, user have to wait for 4 to 5 seconds before loading the page. It used to be very quick.... It is a big performance slowdown.

Try installing Q2A using different database if you are using the same one as your wordpress blog.

No, I am not using the Wordpress database, I created a new one. Not sure if it will fix the issue.

Q2A doesn't do anything in the background so it shouldn't affect the performance of your WordPress site, unless there's some issue in the server configuration.

Thanks for the reply GidGreen ! I have disabled APC and also enabled SUPHP. The performance seems ok now.  I am using W3Total Cache for improving performance.

Thanks for creating a wonderful Q2A software ! It is the best, our users are loving it !
