When I post this comment (I have comment voting installed) :

"When fruit availability was low, cortisol increased, likely because when fruit availability is low monkeys eat less fruit, thus obtaining less sugar. This result may simply reflect cortisol's metabolic function of mobilizing glucose. It also indicates that these monkeys may be experiencing periods of food stress throughout the year, which was earlier thought to be minimal for a primarily folivorous species. Presence of tourists was the only other factor found to lead to high cortisol; with exposure to tourists increasing stress levels."http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=Sources+of+variation+in+fecal+cortisol+levels+in+howler+monkeys+in+Belize "Fructose, but not glucose, increased arterial blood temperature significantly. It is concluded that both fructose and glucose-induced thermogenesis occurs exclusively in extrasplanchnic tissues. Compared with glucose, fructose ingestion is accompanied by a more marked rise in CO2 production, possibly reflecting an increased extrasplanchnic oxidation of lactate and an accumulation of heat in the body."http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=%22Whole+body+and+splanchnic+oxygen+consumption+and+blood+flow+after+oral+ingestion+of+fructose+or+glucose%22"Hypoxia-induced hepatocyte injury results not only from ATP depletion but also from reductive stress and oxygen activation. Thus the NADH/NAD+ ratio was markedly increased in isolated hepatocytes maintained under 95% N2/5% CO2 in Krebs-Henseleit buffer well before plasma membrane disruption occurred. Glycolytic nutrients fructose, dihydroxyacetone or glyceraldehyde prevented cytotoxicity, restored the NADH/NAD+ ratio, and prevented complete ATP depletion." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=Modulating+hypoxia-induced+hepatocyte+injury+by+affecting+intracellular+redox+state "The increase in free fatty acid flux resulting from increased lipolysis secondary to adipose-tissue insulin resistance induces or aggravates insulin resistance in liver and muscle through direct or indirect (from triglyceride deposits) generation of metabolites, altering the insulin signalling pathway. Alleviating the excess of free fatty acids is a target for the treatment of insulin resistance." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17285001 "These data suggest that 1) the stimulation of thermogenesis after fructose ingestion is related to an augmentation of intracellular metabolism rather than an increase in the plasma insulin concentration per se, 2) the insulin resistance of aging, obesity, and diabetes is associated with a defect in intracellular carbohydrate oxidation, and 3) the cellular mechanisms involved in carbohydrate-induced thermogenesis are not primarily impaired in insulin-resistant states."http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=Normalization+of+carbohydrate-induced+thermogenesis+by+fructose+in+insulin-resistant+states

Then the comment doesn't display right and the buttons (edit - flag etcetera) are shifted to the right so they hide behind the sidebar.

When I remove the comment voting plugin the issue disappears. It also disappears when I solely disable the 'qa-comment-voting-layer.php' plugin.

EDIT : It is caused by Noah's code when overriding function c_item_main($c_item)

Other bug ; when you click 'show X previous comments' it doesn't show voting.

Can you apply the ellipsis CSS to all links? Does this work for you. I do not have comment voting enabled on www.warcraftqa.com so I am unable to test this for you. If it does work, can you please post the resulting CSS and where to change it so others may implement this too?

.link_truncated {
    text-overflow: ellipsis;
    display: inline-block;
    width: 275px;
    white-space: nowrap;
    overflow: hidden;
    vertical-align: top;
}

What I did to solve it was add this code to the CSS in qa-comment-voting-layer.php in the comment voting plugin :

.qa-c-item-content a {
        /*text-overflow: ellipsis;*/
        display: inline-block;
        width: 500px;
        white-space: normal;
        overflow: hidden;
        vertical-align: top;
    }

It works, thanks for your help WarcraftQA! My solution is not optimal, but if I used yours, link would often be ended abruptly by '...' and since I use a comment editor  that allows text to be hyperlinked the content was often partially hidden.
