Does it make sense that 'Delete hidden questions' button doesn't work, when its answers and comments do not hide?

I found that after I hidden a question, I was not able to clean up all hidden question by the button. Since I didn't hide its answers and comments. Then I manually hided all answers and comments. It worked.

 

I am not sure if it is designed on purpose, or it is a bug.

It is not a bug . The delete button will only wor for the questions that dont have any dependencies . 

If a question have any dependencies like comments or answers then it will not delete the questions . 

I have developed a free plugin for this purpose . 

Using which you can delete all hidden posts and also you can delete the questions , answers , comments using a single button click .
