Question

Version 1.6.3, clean install on localhost.

Added a category or two.

Using the ask box widget on the home page "Recent questions and answers".

 

If I enter anything into the ask box and hit 'enter', no categories appear in the subsequent ask page.

 

If I do not enter anything into the ask box and hit 'enter', the categories appear.

 

This happens regardless of chosen theme.

And it only happens in Chrome (Version 39.0.2171.95 (64-bit)), not Safari (Version 6.1.6) nor Firefox (34.0.5).

Bizarre?

You should check your error log file.
