Q2A 1.8 - database upgrade issue

I got this error on Q2A upgrade to 1.8. Server Ubuntu 14.04

Question2Answer was unable to perform the installation query below. Please check the user in the config file has CREATE and ALTER permissions:

UPDATE qa_iplimits SET ip = UNHEX(HEX(CAST(ip AS UNSIGNED)))

Error 1062: Duplicate entry '\x00-L' for key 'ip'

Q2A version: 1.8

I just solved by deleting all entries from the table as it was a backup installation.
