Hello

A client just sent me one of the notification emails that he received from my Q2A forum.  The message normally would have included Greek characters.  Instead I saw this:

Γίνομαι όλο πιο ανθεκτικός όταν κάνω χειμερινή κολύμβηση.

When I check those notification emails from my gmailaccount, they look fine, ie they do display properly the Greek chars.

Any idea what is the problem?  Is it just a misconfiguration on the clients email program?

Yes, if you're seeing it correctly in another email software then it's problem of your customer email software.

I am still facing the issue.  What setting can I change in GMAIL for this?  You see, emails with Greek chars  coming from other sources do not have any problem in gmail.  So it may have to do with Q2A too.

I did some digging.  Now I understand that Q2A sends emails with Greek characters encoded as "HTML character codes".  Here is the chars list:

Now how can I make the emails read Λ instead of Λ for example?

Hi

The reason for this is the "Ultimate SEO" plugin.  When the Ultimate SEO plugin was installed, the Turkish characters did not appear properly in the mail.
