and if yes: what kind of scenario makes it useful?

I use favourites on this site because there is no way to go and view all my previous questions/answers. On my own site I use my user activity plugin, of course :)

But favourites are also useful for keeping track of useful questions. When I finally upgrade my site to 1.5 I'll be favouriting a bunch of repeat questions so I have a quick way to close as duplicates.

I'm sure there are better ways for regular users to use favourites, though!

"there is no way to go and view all my previous questions/answers."
This is why I was so happy finding your plugin!

"But favourites are also useful for keeping track of useful questions."
Would like to see statistics of how many people really do this! @gidgreen

"quick way to close as duplicates"
that is smart. So you use it as a admin tool!

I *guess* it is not clear to most of the users how to use this feature. I have not found a usecase yet, after 3 months of usage...

PS: Same goes for "My Updates" - I never use it as I cannot see what is NEW and what IS READ. There comes the History plugin, and my question http://www.question2answer.org/qa/14901/how-to-change-link-of-my-updates-qa-page-php

...and: it is actually confusing at how many spots you can see your activities (but they are always different!).

user (profile page) > New Activities (scroll down)
updates > All my updates
updates > My content
+ plugins :)

That was obviously the reason for the comprehension question of user gerard here: http://www.question2answer.org/qa/12712/diff-between-all-my-updates-and-my-content
