Entering a question triggers the "Before proceeding, please check your question was not asked already".

Within this list are also questions that are marked as duplicate.


Same goes for the field on the right when visiting a question, also includes duplicates.

Would it not be better to hide those duplicates?

If you hide the duplicates, surely that means the user will not know their question is a duplicate as well?

I actually thought - as similar questions displayed on the ask-page are gathered by the question title - that there might be several question-titles for the same question-content. So this made me think, okay, leave the duplicates in there...
