Open-login with google encounters unspecified error

I've set up a google API, copied the revelant URIs, secrets etc. But when I try to use the google login, I get redirected to:

  https://chaste.cs.ox.ac.uk/questions/questions?provider=Google&code=0
Q2A version: 1.7.5
