I Have proplem when I put google analytical code ?

when I put google analyticals code in admin<layout< Html code in header. and make refresh  to the site , the code disapear from Html code in header.

I use the version 1.8.3 

please help me

After adding the code you don't have to REFRESH but rather SAVE the settings

When I but any Html code in admin<layout and Save settings , the code disappear
I think this problem found only in the latest version  1.8.3

please help me
