I have installed a Q2A instance. I would like to deactivate the default WYSIWYG editor and use the markdown editor with support for code blocks (and possibly even math). Looks like there is a markdown editor judging by reading other questions, but I cannot figure out how to activate it.

There is a markdown editor. However, it is not distributed in the core but as an independent add-on. You can download it from here: https://github.com/svivian/q2a-markdown-editor

Is it still up to date? It hasn't been updated in 4 years.
