New Featured Questions System
I’ve added a new feature that allows users to feature their questions so they appear in a carousel on the activity page.
How does it work?
Users can feature one of their questions using their points. Once featured, the question will appear in a widget, making it visible to everyone.
Main Features
- Feature questions with points: Featuring a question costs 500 points.
- 24-hour duration: A featured question remains visible for 24 hours. This duration can be modified in the plugin settings.
- One featured question per user: Each user can have only one featured question at a time.
- Manual removal: Users can manually remove their featured question before the time runs out (points are non-refundable).
- Automatic carousel: Featured questions are displayed in a rotating carousel that slides automatically every few seconds.
- Pop-up window: All featured questions can also be viewed in a pop-up window by clicking the "View All" button.
Visible Information
Each entry in the carousel displays:
- Question title
- "Featured" badge
- User avatar and name
- Remaining time for the featured post
