my current Q2A site is www.domain.com/qna

Now I need to change it to www.domain.com/forums

Can I just rename the /qna to /forums? or it will mess up the site and database?

thanks

just rename the /qna to /forums, it will work without any issues.

As ProThoughts says it should work without issues. However, you should update the option "The URL to use when referring to your site" as this is used in emails and other places.

For SEO purposes you should redirect all pages on the /qna folder to the /forums folder. If your site is new then this doesn't really matter.

If any questions or answers link to others, then you'll need to manually change those to use /forums too.
